DESCRIPTION:NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL WAUKEE!\n\n\n\nJoin us in celebrating the greatest hits from 2022 and what's in store for 2023!\n\n\n\nThe 2023 Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet\, presented by MidWestOne\, will be held on Wednesday\, January 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown. \n\n\n\n\nThe event schedule is as follows:\n\n5:00-6:00pm - Registration / Social Hour presented by Hy-Vee\n\n6:00-8:00pm - Dinner and Awards w/ Special Guest: Dan Meers\n\n \nThe Chamber will highlight the accomplishments of 2022\, announce plans for 2023 and recognize the Members of the Year\, Volunteer of the Year and Citizen of the Year.\n\n\n\nGuests will also hear from special guest\, Dan Meers\, Kansas City Chiefs Mascot.\n\n\n\nDan Meers Bio\n\nDan Meers\n\nMascot\, Motivational Speaker\, Author and Family\n\nMan.\n\n\n\nDan Meers has been KC Wolf\, the mascot of the Kansas\n\nCity Chiefs\, for more than 25 years. In 2006 he was\n\nselected as the first NFL mascot inducted into the Mascot\n\nHall of Fame. Dan travels throughout the United States\n\nand the world entertaining thousands of people both in\n\nand out of costume. He has performed in over 30 states\n\nand six different countries.\n\n\n\nHe is in high demand not only as a mascot but also as a\n\nhumorous and motivational speaker to audiences of all\n\nages.
