The Waukee Area Art Council is a non profit organization bringing art and culture to the City of Waukee and surrounding areas including kids art\, college scholarships\, and of course the #1 event in Waukee the Waukee Arts Festival. Packet Pickup 7/18/2025 5:00-8:00 pm 7/19/2025 6:30-7:15 am Stop at the festival the day before the race for packet pickup and enjoy the artists\, food\, drink\, and music. 5pm to 8pm at the volunteer check in tent. Or race day an hour prior to start. Race Awards Finisher Medal and Shirt The medal is a direct reference to The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dal while subtly incorporating the Waukee Highschool colors\, a stopwatch\, and a nod to the integral Sugar Creek Trail.
