DESCRIPTION:Join the fun with the Waukee Area Historical Society at their 2022 fundraising event Wauktoberfest! The event is sponsored by Hy-Vee and will be held Saturday\, October 8th from 5:00 pm -11:00 pm in the historic downtown Waukee Triangle.\n\n \n\nTickets will be available in advance for $10 per person with one drink ticket included. Buy tickets at the gate for $15 per person. Tickets will be available starting Sept. 1\, 2022 at www.WaukeeHistory.org.\n\n \n\nThe Wauktoberfest Celebration will be held under a big tent at the Waukee Triangle. Wauktoberfest is a nod to the past as there were many annual street dances\, festivals and celebrations that took place at the Triangle. The event is a great way to continue to connect the past and the future. Wauktoberfest will be an evening of music\, food\, dance and community building.\n\n \n\nCome for the evening and enjoy Hy-Vee's menu of German food. Heartland Roofing\, Siding\, and Solar is sponsoring the Wauktoberfest stage. Bring your dancing shoes\, as the evening will start with the Des Moines Polka Band. Rock the rest of the night with Gimikk performing from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Gimikk is a favorite\, performing Rock 'n Roll covers in Central Iowa for over a decade.\n\n \n\nThe beer garden is being sponsored by Next Generation Realty and will feature a variety of beers from Confluence Brewery. Water and soft drinks will also be available to purchase.\n\n \n\nAll proceeds go to support the Waukee Area Historical Society.
