Customer Service Representative (CSR)
The premier Internet provider in the Des Moines area is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. Mi-Fiber is building a brand new fiber optic network, and we need you to take care of our customers. We pride ourselves in providing the best speeds available, along with superior customer service and support.
Duties required of this position are varied, including, but not limited to: interacting with customers and potential customers via phone/email or in person; promoting and selling new and existing products and services; receiving trouble reports; processing payments and collecting unpaid accounts, and other duties as assigned.
The Customer Service Representative must be sales minded with the ability to market Mi-Fiber goods and services. This position requires: excellent customer service and communication skills; proficiency in the use of computers, printers, and multi-line phone systems; and the ability to establish and maintain accurate records, maintain confidentiality of customer information, work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and distractions, and understand and provision telco switch and various networkable devices. The CSR must be able to assist customers with new technology such as smart phones, tablets, and other wireless devices; communicate with the public and co-workers; handle upset customers with patience and understanding; lift up to 40 pounds occasionally; and work overtime when required. Mi-Fiber service area residency is preferred. The CSR will be an employee of our parent company, GRM Networks, but will be based in Urbandale.
