I’m a retired Pharmaceutical Academic Hospital Specialist in both Infectious Disease and Chronic Disease. I worked in the Pharmaceutical arena for almost 24 years. I received my BS in General Science from University of Iowa 1988. I was married for 21 years and knew my incredible and wonderful husband, Gary Wiedenfeld, for 23 years before he passed from Glioblastoma in 2021. We have one son, Nick Callison and his lovely wife Megan Callison. We have three wonderful grandchildren all growing up way too fast. Since my husband’s passing in 2021, I formed a non profit 501(c)3 called Gary’s Ride to honor and support terminal brain cancer patients, especially Glioblastoma patients and their families.
