Waukee Fine Arts Footrace 5k

Take part in a new summer tradition as the Waukee Arts Festival hosts a scenic race through Centennial Park and Sugar Creek Trail finishing in Waukee's best annual event. Enjoy a timed run and stick around to listen to live music, eat at a food truck, and, of course, peruse the wonderful local artists for something that speaks to you. Let's goooo! Your Registration Funds the Waukee Arts Festival and more Run for a good cause. The money you pay at registration goes to the race costs and back into the community. The Waukee Area Art Council is a non profit organization bringing art and culture to the City of Waukee and surrounding areas including kids art, college scholarships, and of course the #1 event in Waukee the Waukee Arts Festival. Packet Pickup 7/18/2025 5:00-8:00 pm 7/19/2025 6:30-7:15 am Stop at the festival the day before the race for packet pickup and enjoy the artists, food, drink, and music. 5pm to 8pm at the volunteer check in tent. Or race day an hour prior to start. Race Awards Finisher Medal and Shirt The medal is a direct reference to The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dalí while subtly incorporating the Waukee Highschool colors, a stopwatch, and a nod to the integral Sugar Creek Trail. Age Group Awards Top 3 Overall Top Male and Female for the following: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ *Kid's Dash and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards.
